Leadership
Nazreen Zainal is the Managing Director of NA Apex Enterprise, bringing over 11 years of experience in electrical engineering, industrial automation, and marine systems integration. He specializes in control systems, SCADA and PLC development, monitoring systems for low-voltage equipment, and complex system integration across marine and industrial environments.
Nazreen holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Petronas and has contributed to numerous engineering projects involving distributed control systems, SCADA integration, and industrial automation platforms. His work includes developing and commissioning systems using technologies such as Siemens TIA Portal, Schneider Vijeo Citect, Wonderware Intouch, and B&R Aprol.
Throughout his career, he has been involved in major projects including tunnel management systems, building management systems, gas turbine control systems, naval machinery control systems, ship navigation simulators, and industrial IoT monitoring solutions. His responsibilities have ranged from system architecture and software development to site supervision, commissioning, and full project leadership.
At NA Apex Enterprise, Nazreen leads the company’s engineering strategy, system design, and technology integration, delivering reliable automation and monitoring solutions for the marine and industrial sectors.
His guiding philosophy is “Grit, clarity, and effort.”
Azwan Kamid is the Technical Director of NA Apex Enterprise, with extensive hands-on experience in marine engineering systems, naval vessel equipment installation, and offshore technical servicing. His expertise lies in marine instrumentation, shaft power measurement systems, sensor calibration, and shipboard equipment commissioning.
With years of technical and engineering studies, Azwan also employs safety and health importance from his study in Bachelor of Occupational Safety and Health Management. Having this, he has worked with multiple engineering organizations where he oversees the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical systems across industrial facilities and Royal Malaysian Navy vessels.
His project experience includes working on multiple naval assets such as KD Perak, KD Kedah, KD Selangor, KD Pahang, KD Kelantan, KD Seri Indera Sakti, and KD Terengganu, installing and servicing systems including shaft power meters, navigation equipment, valve control systems, and monitoring instrumentation.
He currently also serves as a Partner and Service Engineer for Hoppe Marine GmbH, providing engineering support and technical services for naval and offshore vessels worldwide, ensuring the reliability and operational readiness of critical marine systems.
At NA Apex Enterprise, he leads technical operations, equipment installation, commissioning, and field engineering, strengthening the company’s capabilities in delivering dependable solutions for marine and offshore clients.
